Which Advocacy Days do you plan to attend? We encourage you to register for as many days as you would like and are able to attend.
How many people, INCLUDING YOURSELF, will be attending? If you plan to bring a support person or if you are registering as the contact person for a larger group, it is important that you enter the TOTAL number of all who will attend. Due to space limitations, you may bring a group of up to 10 people.
One per line please.
Please indicate here if you will need the services of a sign language interpreter for the advocacy training. We need a minimum of TWO WEEKS ADVANCE NOTICE prior to any event date you wish to attend to arrange services.
To make each advocacy day a success, we are in need of many volunteers. The number of volunteers we will need to help on a given day will depend upon how many people register. If you are interested in helping if needed on the days for which you are registered to attend, please indicate which types of tasks you feel comfortable doing.
- TIME: All Advocacy Days will run from 8:30 am till approximately 12:30 pm.
LOCATION: We will meet at Central Presbyterian Church across from the state capitol at 201 Washington Street SW, Atlanta, 30303 at 8:30 am in the morning for the following events:
DD Waiver Day (January 20), Inclusive Post-Secondary Education (IPSE) Day (February 2), Employment First Day (February 11) and Wildcard Day (March 1),
IMPORTANT NOTE: For ICWP Day (January 27) only, we will meet in the state capitol in room 125 at 8:30 am and NOT the church as we do on the other days. On this day, participants should plan to arrive at least 30 minutes early (by 8 am) to allow plenty of time to go through the screening that is required at the capitol.
Further information about parking & accessibility will be sent to all registrants. Thank you for your interest in Advocacy Days!
