Experience shows that adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) make better transitions from the family home when a person-centered future plan is in place. But what is a future plan? The concept of future planning and what it entails is still not widely understood by many families and human services professionals.

Join The Arc Wisconsin, in partnership with The Arc’s Center for Future Planning, for a FREE online training series for professionals.

Over the course of three live webinars, you will receive the training and resources you need to successfully help people with disabilities and their families build comprehensive future plans.

Each of the following sessions will take place from 12:00 pm to 1:15 pm CT.

  • October 11: Future planning 101
  • October 20: How to build a plan and facilitation materials to use when assisting families
  • October 25: Available state funding resources

These trainings have been made possible with the generous support of the CUNA Mutual Group Foundation.
