Each August members of Congress come home to meet with constituents and hear about local concerns. This year Wisconsin disability advocates hosted four meetings with staff and members from Congressional offices, discussing the need to increase home and community-based services funding, the direct care workforce crisis and the need to increase worker wages, stress on family caregivers and the need for paid leave policies and overdue SSI reforms.
