Wisconsin families with children with significant disabilities often have difficulty navigating the various systems they need to support their child (health, education, community services, etc.) or getting the services they are eligible for. Families in typically underserved groups face additional barriers. Earlier this year The Arc Wisconsin worked with 7 other family-serving organizations to ask families what would help and how a “Family Navigator” could make a difference.
