The Governor’s Task Force on Caregiving was created to support and strengthen the direct care workforce, increase access to care, and improve the quality of caregiving in Wisconsin. The Arc Wisconsin co-chairs this Task Force. Members welcome input from family caregivers, professional caregivers, health care providers and other citizens interested in improving working conditions for individuals who care for people with disabilities and older adults, leading to a better quality of care for the people they serve.
Public Input Session and Online Survey
The Task Force is currently seeking feedback on draft policy proposals addressing the charges in Executive Order #11. Members of the public are encouraged to provide their comments on these proposals in one of two ways:
- Attend an online public input session on June 29. Find the zoom link and agenda for the meeting – with specific times to comment on individual proposals here. (To learn more about recommendations under consideration, please visit the Policy Proposals page.)
- Take a public input survey , available through July 14. The survey asks participants to rate their levels of support for one or more proposals and provides opportunities to submit comments.
If you have questions about the public input session or need assistance connecting to the public survey, please contact the Task Force mailbox or your local aging and disability resource center.
